Grace Closet is a ministry developed by Grace Bible fellowship Church of Antioch to help families & individuals in East Contra Costa that are experiencing (Genuine Financial) challenges.

 

Matthew 25:34-40 (NIV)

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.

Here at the Grace Closet

 

We strive to provide and meet the needs of families and individuals who struggle in meeting their own needs. We understand that hardships are a part of life and desire to help ease the discomfort of going through those times alone.

 

We welcome all regardless of their social status, race, gender, age, religious belief, background or physical disabilities.

Donations

Please donate your clean, folded & gently used or new men, women & children clothing & shoes donations during operating hours.  Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.

WHO ARE WE

 

Grace Closet is a ministry developed by Grace Bible Fellowship of Antioch Church to help families & individuals in East Contra Costa that are experiencing (Genuine Financial) challenges. Grace Closet was founded in 2005 by Pastor Kirkland and 1st Lady Qwivander Smith.

 

Grace Closet serves as a place where men, women & children can receive Food, Clothing, Encouragement, Prayer and Much more at NO COST. Many families and individuals come to the “Closet” weekly for food and clothes. They are without employment or significant employment, low-income families who depend on government assistance, or even homeless, many with children.

 

Here at Grace Closet all people will be greeted and served by friendly volunteers, who are there to “meet the needs of God’s people” who are in transition.

GOALS OF THE ORGANIZATION

 

  • Spread the love of Jesus Christ through our services.

  • Meet the needs of our local communities.

  • Keep our doors open and our pantry filled with food and clothes.

  • Participant in helping in the efforts to end world hunger starting in our own community.

  • Operate in the spirit of excellence.

PURPOSE

 

To provide for the population of those in need through the love of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 8:7 Help meet the needs of others. Give hope and show love for God’s creation in His image.

PURSUIT

Families and individuals who lack the financial means and resources to provide for their families or themselves.

To serve our communities food and clothing and to assist with information concerning community resources for families or individuals who need it.
