Key Community Goals
• Reduced Service Gaps:
• Maximized Funding:
• Holistic Support:
• Stronger Advocacy
The Health and Wellness benefits to the community are as follows:
• We believe that Health and Wellness is crucial because it supports both the staff and the communities we serve.
• For the staff, it combats burnout by offering benefits like robust wellness programs, which improves retention and productivity.
• For the community, it bridges health disparities by providing access to services, education, and resources for underserved populations, ultimately improving overall health outcomes.
• By offering education and resources, nonprofits help people make informed decisions about their health and take control of their well-being.
Strategic Approach for Reaching Desired Non-Profit Outcomes:
To turn a network into an effective engine for change, use the Collective Impact framework:
1. Establish a Common Agenda: All organizations must agree on the primary community problem and a shared vision for solving it.
2. Define Shared Measurement: Decide on a common set of metrics (e.g., tracking the exact number of individuals housed or meals served) to track progress uniformly across all partners.
3. Align Mutually Reinforcing Activities: Instead of everyone doing the same thing, divide tasks based on each nonprofit's core strengths and expertise.
4. Maintain Open Communication: Build trust through regular meetings, shared data platforms, and transparent feedback loops.
5. Form a Backbone Organizational Support: Designate subject matter experts to help with managing technology, and how to best handle administrative reporting.
